Temperature: Maintain the soil temperature between 65 to 68 degrees with day time temperature set at 72 degrees F.

PH: Stick unrooted cuttings into a well drained peatlite media, having pH range of 5.8 to 6.2.

More information: Mist to maintain turgid cuttings, reduce mist as cuttings resist wilting. Rooting happens very rapid and stop mist as callus and small roots develop. As soon as roots are visible, move to reduce temperature, maintain high light, remove from humid environment and fertilize at 75 to 100 ppm to reduce stretch. (Most important function on Ageratum is to avoid stretch)

More information: Transplant as soon as some roots are to the side of the propagation tray. Stretch in plants can be further mitigated by rapid spacing and transplant. Grow in good light greenhouses pushing light up to 8000ft candles. Keep pH in growing media at 5.4 to 6.2. Keep night temperatures cool at 55 degree nights - 55 to 70 degree day. Plants easily fill 8 inch pots or rapid fill of landscape 4 inch pots. Proper timing is important as 4 inch pots can fill in 4 to 6 weeks after transplant. Plants are daylength neutral and can be scheduled in the south under short day conditions.

PGR considerations: PGR considerations should include: 1 or more applications of B-9 at 2500 to 5000 ppm starting at 7 days after transplant.

CLEAN STOCK: Kientzler Ageratum come with Innovaplant commitment to unsurpassed clean record of production reliability.
